This course introduces toddlers and preschool-aged children to the water in a fun and safe environment. Parents or caregivers are taught effective techniques to teach their toddlers and preschool-aged children how to float, submerge face and eyes, move in the water, water safety, enter and exit the water poolside, and survival skills such as rolling over to breathe and what to do upon an accidental fall into the pool. Classes incorporate songs, activities, and water safety education.
Participating in this class gives parents skills to continue to work on water safety with young swimmers in any pool setting. Children gain respect and love for the water!
Each Session lasts 2 weeks- to complete the course, all 8 classes must be completed in the session.
$150 per session – 8 classes per session
Session 1- September 8-18
Monday – Thursday 4 PM-5 PM
Session 2- September 22-October 2
Monday – Thursday 4 PM-5 PM
