The Swim Across the Sound is the marquis event of St. Vincent’s Medical Center focused on raising much needed funding to support individuals and their families fighting a cancer diagnosis. It is with cautious optimism that we move forward with planning the 2021 Swim Marathon scheduled for August 7th at Captains Cove Marina. Registration is now open for all swimmers, boat captains and volunteers including medical on-shore support. Please register at: www.swimacrossthesound.org/marathon2021.
Any changes or cancellation announcements about the event will be communicated to you through this website. The health and safety of our Swim participants, their families and the community remain our top priority.
Our mission is, as it has always been, to provide financial assistance and supportive programs to individuals receiving cancer treatments in our community. With your help, we are able to assist patients with wigs and prostheses, medication assistance, and mortgage or rent assistance. These are just a few ways your donations make a difference in the lives of these families. We hope you will join us as a swimmer, boat captain, or volunteer.
