Learning to swim significantly reduces the risk of drowning. Drowning is the 2nd leading cause of unintentional injury death for children under 14, with the highest rates among children ages 1-4.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc's partnership with USA Swimming Foundation started the SWIM1922 Water Safety initiative to help teach the community effective water safety. Throughout the years, we have partnered with Oklahoma Swimming, Santa Fe Family Life Center, AESC Swim Club and the King Marlon Swim Club.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Please register at tinyurl.com/Swimsafety22 to attend. ALL ages are welcome to learn effective water safety skills to prevent drowning.
