Put on your aprons and chef hats and imagine the unlimited and flavorful possibilities this week! From frozen-inspired treats to frosting-covered sweets, each day campers will use their imaginations to colorfully decorate delightful works of art! Youth will work with a variety of materials to create plaster popsicles, clay donuts, and other exciting 2D & 3D creations! At the end of the week, goodies will be placed in dessert packaging and fabric totes for campers to take their creations home! Fulfill your sweet tooth’s craving this week by creating and decorating real and fake sweets and treats at OMAM this summer!
🍩Monday-Friday, June 24-28 @ 9:00am - 12:00pm
🍩Designed for youth 6 to 11 (age at time of camp). 5-year-olds may attend if they have completed Kindergarten.
🍩Campers should come with a snack and drink each day.
🍩Seats are limited; this camp will sell out!
Summer camps at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum are run by experienced instructors with a small teacher/student ratio that provides a unique and a high-quality program you won't find just anywhere! Our campers will explore a variety of mediums as they create multiple art projects coordinating with the week's super fun theme.
REGISTRATION: Current OMAM members may sign up their children/grandchildren now. Registration for non-members will start at 10am Friday, 2/23!
TUITION: $135 for museum members and $150 for future members. Spots are filled on a first-come, first served basis so don't wait to register!
SCHOLARSHIPS: Thanks to a generous donation by local artist Pamela Bleakney, each camp has two free scholarship spots. Parents receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) are eligible to apply for this 100% tuition assistance, To start the scholarship application process, please email [email protected].
REFUNDS: Requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to the start of a session. You will be issued a refund, minus a $15 processing fee. No refunds are issued after that time.
