Sweet Sensory Play Day

Welcome to the Sweet Sensory Play Day at Honeybee Centre! Join us for a day filled with fun and interactive activities that will engage all your senses. From tasting delicious honey, to feeling the textures of the hive, this event is perfect for kids and adults alike. Let your senses come alive as you explore the world of bees and honey in a hands-on and exciting way.

Join us for a buzzing family adventure filled with hands-on sensory play, all centred around the magic of bees and honey!

Event Highlights:

• Sensory Mix Creation Station: Guests will have the chance to create their own sensory fill mix from a variety of materials (beans, colored rice, lentils, etc.). Basic fill is included in the fee.
• Marketplace: Additional sensory materials will be available for purchase, allowing guests to further customize their take-home mix.
• Bee and Honey Sensory Play Stations: These themed stations will be set up in the classroom, providing children and families a space to explore and play.
• Story Time: A bee-themed story time will take place in our classroom at 2:30pm and 3:15pm.
• Guest Speaker: Wander and Play's Janel Viaje will host a Talk "The Value of Sensory Play for Children’s Development" at 1:30pm

• Audience: This event is great for Educators, Families and anyone interested in Sensory Play.

REGISTRATION:

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each registration is for one family and includes one DIY Sensory Mix (you can bring up to 4 people per family).
