Sweet Boy's Make Up Playground

Join the incredible Sweet Boy and Love Deluxe at their Makeup Playground - a drag makeup ‘workshop’ to teach you the basics, give you the makeup kit to get you started, all under the guidance of 2 local drag artists!
This is designed for beginners, but open to all - as a laid back, casual environment as we guide you through the steps. You will receive a basic drag makeup starter kit to get you going, but we do encourage bringing your own makeup if you already have some.

This session is available for people aged 16-30 (under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult) with proceeds supporting Newcastle Pride 2026. Taking place alongside Drag Olympics at The Backyard Gym as part of our Newcastle Pride fundraising day - This is a chance to try something new and help bring Pride to Newcastle!
