🏃♂️ Sweeney Cup – 8km Handicap OPEN Road Race🏃♀️
This event is open to everyone.
Runners of all abilities are welcome, including non-club members and members of other clubs.
The clubs first Road Race of the season!!
The Sweeney Cup is an 8km handicap road race where each entrant is assigned a starting time based on their estimated 5km time.
The aim is simple: finish as close as possible to your predicted time! But be warned—don't overestimate or underestimate your ability, as Mr Dudfield has a secret handicap cut-off to keep everyone honest.
⏰ Event Schedule
Registrations open from 12:30pm
The clock starts counting down at 1:00pm, with the slowest runners setting off first
Children's 2km race at 1:15pm
🍰 Please bring a plate to share for afternoon tea back at the hall afterwards.
