SWEA Boston invites you to our Swedish Christmas Concert with Lucia and fundraiser in beautiful Wellesley Hills Congregational Church on December 7.
Get in the holiday spirtit by enjoying melodious and ambient Christmas music with us!
We will listen to music preformed by Swedish vocal group Merulae, participate in a short interlude hosted by interfaith coalition singers What the World Needs Now, and experience a traditional St Lucia pageant with children of the Swedish School of Boston and Merulae. The program includes soloists and small ensembles, all accompanied by live music.
Proceeds go directly to support SWEA Boston's work of spreading Swedish culture and the Swedish language through our scholarships and donations.
PLEASE OBSERVE - Our 2 different ticket options
#1 You're welcome from 12.30 pm when the doors open to our pop up cafe and Christmas shop in the Assembly room. There will be traditional Swedish baked goods and pastries, coffee, warm glögg and more for you to purchase and enjoy. We will have a few tables with items for sales and a raffle. At 2.30 pm the doors to the Sanctuary open and you're welcome in to enjoy the concert.
#2 You're welcome directly into the Sanctuary at 2.30 pm and seated to enjoy the concert.
Tickets are limited and on sale until sold out or end of day December 6. You don't want to miss this!
