About this Event
Break a sweat for a cause that matters! Join us for an energizing 45 min "Cardio Sculpt" class that will be taught by Syd, the General Manager of Crunch Fitness - Dorchester, followed by a social at McGonagles bar located at Lucy's American Tavern, 13 Granite Ave, Dorchester, MA 02124. Every rep, every drop of sweat, and every dollar goes toward helping Boston's youth find their spark, no matter what.
Friends of the Children-Boston is a nonprofit serving the Boston neighborhoods of Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester, and East Boston. We pair youth facing the toughest systemic challenges with a 1:1 professional mentor in kindergarten through to high school for 12+ years, no matter what, providing holistic support to ensure they reach their fullest potential.
Your $30 ticket supports the Find Your Spark programming at Friends of the Children-Boston - a Young Professionals Board initiative that gives mentors a monthly budget to take youth out into the city for experiences they might not otherwise have access to. Think swimming, cooking classes, STEM and arts programs, college tours, and so much more. These outings aren't just fun, they help young people who face higher barriers to success build resilience.
