This 5-day lacrosse camp is designed for girls (Rising K-5th) who are ready to learn lacrosse or take their skills to the next level. No prior experience is necessary. We reinforce the basic skills of catching, throwing, cradling, ground ball pick-ups, dodging, shooting, and defensive stick work, while staying true to the Swax Lax Lacrosse spirit of building confidence and having fun! Participants are grouped by grade level, and where appropriate, by ability level.
Camps run for 5 individual weeks: June 14 and 21 (Kent Place School, Summit, NJ) and June 28, July 26, August 2 (Pingry School, Short Hills, NJ) from 8:30am to 2:30pm. In the afternoon, the schedule involves playground time and arts and crafts in the shade or indoors. 1/2 days are avail for K-1st.
