SWARALAYA SANDHYA 2026 (14th Aug)

Swaralaya Sandhya 2026 is a celebration of the finest artists from the great world of Carnatic music, and it is a reaffirming event that promises melody, rhythm, Sahitya, Bhakti, folk essences, and devotional verses on all three days of its staging.

Swaralaya Sandhya 2026, a three-day festival, is an offering of music and Swaras on August 12, 13, and 14, 2026, at the prestigious Chowdiah Memorial Hall Auditorium, Bangalore. All the concerts begin at 6:30 PM.

August 14, Friday, will see the prolific, legendary Carnatic vocalist Sudha Ragunathan, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, regaling the audience with her lineup of Kritis, Devarnamas, devotional songs, and others.

Sudha Ragunathan displays sheer virtuosity, precision,and melody in her musical offerings.Her style is reminiscent of the great MLV amma style,yet stands out with her prolific repertoire,sense of experimentation and the desire to blend tradition with novelty and contemporary style.Do not miss the wonderful opportunity of seeing  kalaimamani Sudha Ragunathan at the Chowdiah Concert.
