About this Event
Meditation Through Indian Classical Music "Where sound becomes silence, and silence becomes self."
Step into the sacred world of Swar Samadhi: Sounds of Stillness, a meditative journey guided by the timeless power of Indian classical music. Rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom, this program explores the spiritual dimension of sound—where each raga, each note (swar), becomes a doorway to inner stillness and inner harmony.
Participants will have an opportunity to absorb the music through meditative listening and to sing collectively in a call and response format.
This event is in-person only. Tickets are sliding scale $25-$45 with no one turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF).
Premsheela learned music for more than ten years from her principal music guru, the late Devi Karunamayee of Sri Aurobindo Ashram – Delhi Branch. Under her golden wings and with the spiritual orientation of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, Premsheela assimilated deep foundations of both classical and devotional music. She has been working in educational fields for over 15 years. Learn more about Premsheela's work on her website: https://singsargam.com/ and her work with children's music here https://tumtana.com/
