Swap Meet: Spooky Ooky Items

Clear out your crypt. Trade the spooky treasures you no longer need. Leave with something delightfully strange from someone else’s haunted little stash.

Join us at Cocktail Collective for a free spooky community swap on Friday, October 23 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. This event focuses on gothic, eerie, horror-inspired, witchy, and spooky items that can be enjoyed beyond Halloween season. Wearable costumes belong at our Costumes and Halloween Decor Swap Meet.

How the Swap Works

• RSVP for free through Eventbrite. Each registered guest who RSVPs in advance receives 2 bonus swap tokens at check-in.

• You may participate even if you do not bring anything.

• Bring no more than 10 clean, complete, category-appropriate swap units.

• Our team will inspect all contributions at check-in. One accepted swap unit equals one token.

• Pairs, sets, and small-item bundles may be counted as one swap unit. Cocktail Collective staff will make the final count.

• Once an item is accepted and exchanged for a token, it becomes part of the community swap and cannot be reclaimed.

• One token may be exchanged for one available swap unit, regardless of its original or retail value.

• Additional tokens may be purchased at the door for $3 each. Proceeds from these optional token purchases will be donated.

• Tokens are valid only during this event. Unused tokens have no cash value, cannot be refunded, and cannot be used at another Swap Meet.

• Available items are first come, first served. Participation does not guarantee a particular style, category, value, or number of items.

• Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. An RSVP does not guarantee immediate entry. Only 30 guests may be inside at one time, so guests may be asked to wait if the venue is full.

Accepted items may include gothic or spooky home decor, horror-inspired art and books, witchy or eerie craft supplies, candle holders, faux florals, creepy-cute knickknacks, safe small props, and other spooky treasures in good condition. Wearable costumes and costume accessories are not accepted at this event.

Please do not bring open food or beverages, used candles, broken glass, sharp objects, realistic weapons, unsafe props, open makeup, dirty items, or anything that is not ready for another person to take home. Our team may decline items that do not fit the event.

Because of the space we are located in and the setup of this event, this is an adults-only swap. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.

At the end of the event, any items that are not swapped may be left with our team for donation, future community use, or future event decor when appropriate. Once items are left behind, they cannot be reclaimed.
