Swap for Smart Works Leeds

Smart Works is a fantastic charity that supports unemployed women with the clothes, coaching and confidence they need to get the job and transform their lives. In the last year 72% of the women who have visited Smart Works Leeds got the job within one month of their appointment.

Swap for Smart Works is a new initiative designed to encourage people to get together and swap their pre-loved clothes, at the same time raising funds for this amazing charity.

This is an opportunity for us all to be a bit kinder to our environment and purses whilst fundraising for this wonderful women's charity, Smart Works Leeds.

All proceeds from this event will support the charity at a time when their service has never been more needed.

Come and join us for a fun and inspiring evening of swapping, not shopping. Here's how it works.

1. Start by purchasing your ticket (entry and refreshments included)

2. Choose some of your best clothing items, accessories or shoes

3. You will receive tokens at the event, based on the number of items you bring

4. Browse the rails and use your tokens to take other items home

Unsure on what to Swap? What about...

• That new outfit you bought online months ago but will never wear

• Your last season party ensemble that's ready for switching up

• Good quality basics from various brands - think new shirts & jumpers, not bobbled leggings & worn out jeans

• Vintage pieces

• brand new or lightly worn footwear

Please ensure items are of awesome quality.

For this event, we are only accepting women's clothing, accessories and shoes. Pierced jewellery, nightwear, swimwear, bathrobes and underwear including socks will not be accepted.
