Have some fun with other artists in a canvas swap!!
Participants will each receive a large square gallery wrapped canvas and basic supplies. Each person will spend a limited number of minutes creating on canvas, then pass their canvas to their neighbor, and receive a canvas from their other neighbor. Then repeat!
We'll enjoy creating collaboratively, getting to know each other, and laughing together. It's a sure way to make sure you're not taking yourself too seriously. There will be time to connect with others and build community while also making art together.
Who it's for: People willing to jump in and have fun with acrylics. You don't need a specific style, but some painting experience necessary. Overall artistic guidance will be informal outside of the canvas swap rules. Artist Creative Kate will assist individuals, and help with questions or idea generation.
Supplies Provided: Acrylic paint, brushes, glue, scrap paper, and basic snacks will be provided. You're encouraged to bring a bite to eat or drink to share.
Everyone will go home with one of the collaborative paintings.
