Summer camp is coming to the Lyric Hyperion! We’re creating a classic campfire sing-along experience for adults who miss camp and those who never went. No talent or experience required – just a willingness to sing your darn heart out as we come together to belt out some silly camp songs, Americana classics, rockin’ jams, and cowboy lullabies. All proceeds will go to A Thousand Summers, a charity that provides transformative summer camp experiences for youth who would otherwise not be able to attend.

“We Believe in the Power of Camp”
Wilderness summer camp programs provide a unique opportunity in youth development. Historically, these types of highly impactful enrichment experiences have been reserved for families with significant financial means. A THOUSAND SUMMERS’ primary mission is to bridge that financial gap and make camp accessible to youth who otherwise would not be able to attend.
Brett Swanson is a screenwriter, library associate, hiking guide, and long-time camp counselor who loves to sing in groups and bring people together. A graduate of AFI and CSU, he worked at Cheley Colorado Camps for over a decade, spent a summer as a Funsultant for Super Duper Arts Camp here in LA, and for the last four years has been helping grownups connect with nature while guiding hikes at The Ashram.
