Join us on board Decoy the Paddle Steamer for this all inclusive lunch jazz cruise. On Sunday the 22nd December 2024 the Ramblers will perform a wide variety of jazz classics, drawing repertoire from trad jazz, swing, blues, gypsy jazz, New Orleans style and more.Led by bass-player Pete Jeavons, the SRR collective features a variety of talented Perth musicians, combining a wealth of performance experience, with instrumental virtuosity and a keen sense of spontaneity.
The band will feature Adam Hall (Trumpet / vocals), Ray Walker (Banjo), Lachie Glover (Tenor Sax) and of course, Pete Jeavons (Double Bass).
You can expect to hear music from greats such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet and George Gershwin as well as an eclectic mix of contemporary tunes.
