SWAG - Strong Women and Guns is for experienced shooters. Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
About this Event
Our purpose is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all who want to practice and refresh your fundamentals, grow your knowledge and education of firearms with training on the Range. You will have the opportunity to work with Expert and Certified Instructors that will guide you through training exercises and Competition shooting drills that will sharpen your skills with a pistol. If you’re a very new shooter still developing basic proficiency, AVGC offers a Novice Shooter workshop for free: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/634206036327 as well as many other opportunities to learn and grow your skills.You do not need to be a member of Apple Valley Gun Club. All of our classes and Events are open to the Public.We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at AVGC on the Pistol Range from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.You must be on time to attend the Range Safety Briefing. If you do not attend the Range Safety Briefing you will not be able to shoot.REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND AND SPACES ARE LIMITED. If you want to reserve your space, REGISTER NOW. Must be 18 and older to participate in this event.
Bring:
Your firearm
At least 200 rounds of factory new ammunition (no reloads or steel core)
Your eye & ear protection
We supply the targets
Closed toe shoes and a high collared shirt are required. No open or scoop neck tops, tank tops or polo shirts are allowed. Bring a hat.
****** PLEASE leave your Firearm secured in a locked container in your locked vehicle until instructed to retrieve it.
A "locked container" is a secure container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock, combination lock, or similar locking device. Locked container does not include the glove compartment or utility compartment.
Cost is $5 for AVGC members and $10 for non members plus a small processing fee.
