AUDITION NOTICE
STOP KISS by Diana Son

SeaView Playwright’s Theatre will hold auditions for two female actors, mid 20’s – early 30’s, for the roles of CALLIE and SARA for their upcoming production of STOP KISS by Diana Son.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at SeaView Playwright’s Theatre, 460 Brielle Avenue, Staten Island, New York, 10314.
Auditions will consist of readings from the script, so familiarity with the play will be helpful.
The production will have 5 performances in March 2025: Saturday March 22 (opening), Sunday, March 23, Friday, March 28, Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 with Friday and Saturday performances at 8:00pm and Sunday performances at 2:00om.
Rehearsals will begin in early February.
PLAY SYNOPSIS: After Callie meets Sara, the two unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they never could have anticipated. Throughout Stop Kiss, relationships are explored, formed, and even ended, as the play elaborates on the depths of human emotion and compassion.
NOTE: The story is told out of chronological order: alternating scenes take place respectively before and after the assault, which is not shown onstage.
