SVMA Tech Talk: Tapping Solutions for Precision Cutting Solutions with OSG

This highly interactive training will focus on taps and provide a solid foundation in their proper use and selection. It will cover basic tap terminology, various tap geometries, and how each design is suited for specific applications. We will review the functions of different tap styles and how they perform across a range of materials and hole conditions. The session will also include identification of common failure modes to help diagnose issues in the field, along with an overview of H-limits and their designations to ensure proper fit and thread tolerance. This training is intended to build both fundamental knowledge and practical understanding for effective tap application.
