Suzanne Tucker brings a wealth of creative leadership experience in the arts. With nearly two decades at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and ten years teaching music in the public school system, she is recognized for her strategic vision, clear communication, and innovative approach to collaboration. A pianist, singer, and choral conductor, Suzanne’s lifelong passion for music is matched by her commitment to building meaningful connections through the arts.
Since joining the Georgia Symphony Orchestra in 2023, Suzanne has embraced the opportunity
to deepen her understanding of the organization’s rich community roots. She leads a dynamic
team of creative and dedicated professionals, fostering new partnerships and expanding the
symphony’s impact throughout Marietta and Cobb County.
Suzanne holds a Master of Music Education from the University of Georgia, where she also
supervised undergraduate student teachers, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Shorter
College. She lives in Marietta with her husband, Jeffrey, and their two sons, Jackson and Will.
Together, they enjoy spirited movie marathons, good-natured teasing, and turning ordinary
moments into celebrations. Suzanne loves throwing theme parties and believes that every
occasion deserves a touch of creativity and joy.
