The workshop speakers are Stacey Branson (CSF) & Ian Robertson (Sustainable Soil Management).
Agenda:

10.00 am Stacey Branson CSF Adviser - Housekeeping and Introduction to CSF
10.15 am Ian Robertson
Join us for a practical and insightful soil workshop designed to strengthen your understanding of how soil functions and why it underpins successful farming. Ian Robertson from Sustainable Soil Management (SSM) will be leading the session. With a lifelong passion for soil, shaped by growing up on an organic farm and years of consultancy work. Ian has spent the last two decades developing one of the most comprehensive soil tests used across the UK and Europe to support sustainable food production and landscape management.
During the workshop, you’ll explore how plants interact with soil, gain a clearer picture of crop nutrient requirements, and learn how to optimise growth through better soil management.
We’ll also look at soil biology and discuss how improving soil health can benefit both the environment and farm profitability.
Whether your focus is boosting productivity or moving towards more regenerative approaches, this event will offer practical knowledge to help enhance your farm’s performance.
