Sustainable Gift Wrapping w/ FABSCRAP

Join The NYC Fair Trade Coalition & FABSCRAP for an evening of sustinable gift wrapping. We will be using deadstock fabric, fabric headers, boxes made from wallpaper and more to cover our fair trade and sustainable gifts.

FABSCRAP is a commercial textile "waste" recycling service, an affordable art and fashion supply store, a sustainability education center, and a community hub. Partnering with over 700 fashion, interior design, and entertainment brands, we save thousands of pounds of fabric from landfills annually. Our goal is to provide these saved-from-landfill materials at an accessible and affordable rate to our community of makers.

NYC Fair Trade Coalition offers a unique educational experience for ethically-aligned businesses, students of sustainability, and advocates by creating space to incubate and activate local communities.
