In this exciting new workshop, we’ll show you how to create your style, whether it’s a post-apocalyptic theme, minimalist, romantic, bohemian, or something else! Discover where sewing meets art through hands-on instruction with various fibers and textiles.
Experiment with surface design techniques such as painting on fabric and appliques, adding hardware, ripping, and freestyle stitching.
On summer afternoons, in the middle of the hottest part of the day, come in to get creative and put down your devices. Teens can come into the studio and hang out with their peers to learn about design while expressing their personal style. They can create a variety of clothing, home decor, and Upcycled" eco-art.”
Your teen will learn new design and construction skills. The instructor will demonstrate the new techniques in the first hour on Monday, and then they will use what they know and learn to create earth-friendly clothing and accessories with help to guide them for the rest of the week.
