This week is designed to give art campers an understanding of what it means to be sustainable through fun, hands-on art activities based on Lynne Cherrys' book, The Great Kapok Tree. Each day we will focus on a specific objective of sustainability: land, air, water, and food as we explore Cherry's book about rainforest conservation. Using paint, paper mache, and recycled items, campers will transform the classroom into a tropical rainforest jungle, complete with trees, plants, and animals.
Esta semana está diseñada para que los campistas de arte comprendan lo que significa ser sostenible a través de actividades artísticas divertidas y prácticas basadas en el libro de Lynne Cherrys, The Great Kapok Tree.
