We have two aims for the Sustainability Socials:

For ESG, especially ‘S’ for social sustainability: to sustain people socially, to enhance society and humankind.

To counter social isolation. Relationships are the greatest protective factor against all forms of ill heath. The world famous annual employee engagement survey, called the Gallup 12, includes 12 questions, one of which is: ‘do you have a friend at work?’

To benefit from face-to-face human interaction (numerous studies on this post covid e.g. Koester, A. (2022). Why face-to-face communication matters: A comparison of face-to-face and computer-mediated communication. In COVID-19, Communication and Culture (pp. 115-134). Routledge.

To get to know new colleagues and others, and to reconnect with people post Covid.

Most importantly - To learn about sustainability together in a relaxed environment!
