Sustainability at the Dallas Zoo

Women in the Environment is going to the Dallas Zoo!

Join us on Monday, June 10th, for a family day at the zoo. We have scheduled an educational presentation entitled "From Road to Restore: The Vital Roles of Zoos in Conservation and Sustainability Efforts".

The Details:

This presentation is free with paid admission to the zoo. The Dallas Zoo has been so kind to offer us discounts on zoo tickets. You must purchase your ticket in advance from our Eventbrite link to receive the discount. We will have a list of registrations at the zoo entrance on the day of the event for folks to get in.

If you have a Dallas Zoo membership, you do not need to purchase a ticket. But, please select the free ticket price below so we will have an accurate headcount.

Parking is $12.00 and will be guests' responsibility.

Zoo Hours:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The presentation will be at 11:00 AM in the Flamingo Room, inside the Prime Meridian Cafe. The Prime is located in Zoo North, just behind the flamingo habitat and across from the Tamarin Treetops.

Lunch will be on your own but we will find a pinic area to all sit together. You may bring your own food and drinks to the zoo. As a reminder, glass items, alcoholic beverages, and single-use straws are not permitted in the zoo. In addition, there are restaurants and food/beverage carts throughout the park.
