Join us for the 16th annual Sustain Dane Summit on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Join us Friday, November 8 for the 16th annual Sustain Dane Summit, a conference for sustainability leaders to learn, connect, share, reflect, and build new skills. This year the Summit will be held at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Connect with fellow leaders in our vibrant local movement for the sustainability event of the year!
Esha Chhabra is an author and writer and will be joining us as our keynote speaker.
Esha Chhabra has been a writer and journalist focused on global development, the environment, and business for over a decade. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Time, Economist, Guardian, Forbes, The Washington Post, Fast Company, Wired, and more. She helps companies determine if they are actually pushing the needle on sustainability. Her debut book, Working to Restore , won Best Business Book of the Year at the Tata Lit Fest, amongst other accolades.

Mansion Hill Inn Happy Hour 11/7
New this year join us for a pre-Summit Happy Hour hosted by Mansion Hill Inn on Thursday, November 7 from 4:30 - 6:30 PM . Connect with the sustainability community coming to the Summit in the unique historic setting of the Inn. To register for this limited event, add the Mansion Hill Inn add-on to your regular registration. Ticket cost includes one complimentary drink and snacks. Live Forward Awards
Sustain Dane is seeking nominations for the 2024 Live Forward Awards. Help us recognize the innovation and impact happening in our own neighborhoods. The Live Forward Awards acknowledge change-makers and inclusive leaders who are locally promoting thriving sustainability, community healing, and resiliency. A nominee's work will ideally impact one or more areas of holistic sustainability: a healthy environment, equity & social well-being, and a just economy. Awardees receive a recognition of $250. Nomination deadline is Friday, August 9th at 11:59 PM. Nominations are accepted through this google form (note that it has a word count limit). Nominate a change-maker today!
