atTAcK addiction's Sussex County chapter will host its second annual Soberfest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Hudson Fields in Milton (29763 Eagle Crest Road). Highlights for the free-entry festival include food, live music, bounce houses for children, arts and crafts, and a cornhole tournament sponsored by the Oxford Houses of Delaware.The festival will include more than 30 organizations and vendors providing resources for those in recovery and their families, as well as great entertainment. Live music will be provided by The Leftovers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and The Girls Room from 1-3 p.m. Both bands also played last year and are Sussex County favorites.
Soberfest provides a safe and fun environment where people can come together in an alcohol- and drug-free environment, and it is meant to foster community connection and care. The goal is to help people feel supported while they are in recovery,] as well as providing their loved ones with a network
of support.
