The Tidemark Theatre and Gee Dan Productions are excited to present a powerful and unforgettable evening with award-winning Inuk singer-songwriter Susan Aglukark on April 1, 2025 as she celebrates the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking album This Child. With special guest Angela Amarualik, this tour honors Susan's incredible journey, from her rise in the early 90s to becoming Canada’s first Inuk artist to win multiple Juno Awards, receive the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, and be appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Susan’s music is a heartfelt blend of Inuit traditions, pop, and country, and This Child remains a testament to her mission of learning, healing, and sharing through music. Over the past 30 years, Susan has released 10 albums, founded the Arctic Rose Foundation, and authored children’s books, all while continuing to use her platform to inspire and uplift.
