Since 2005 the Masonic Cancer Center in collaboration with M Health Fairview is proud to host this free educational conference that is focused on questions and issues that survivors and their families often face after cancer treatment or transplant therapy (blood and marrow, cellular, or immunotherapy). Since then we have built a reputation for hosting a robust annual event that is now offered in person or via livestream.Who Should Attend?
At the University of Minnesota, we align with the National Cancer Institute’s definition of survivorship. “An individual is considered a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis through the balance of life. There are many types of survivors, including those living with cancer and those free of cancer.
Cancer survivors age 16 and older, parents, spouses and significant others, healthcare professionals, school administrators, and social workers can benefit from attending. There are not CMEs offered at this event.
