Welcome to the Survivors of Violence Gala!

Come join us at Denizen MKE for a night of empowerment and support. This event is a celebration of resilience and strength, honoring both the survivors who have overcome violence and trauma, and the organizations that support and empower them. Together, we will stand in solidarity with survivors, raise awareness, and inspire change.

Featuring Keynote Speaker Oresa Napper-Williams

Oresa Napper-Williams, affectionately known as “Reese,” is the Executive Director and Visionary of Not Another Child Inc. (NAC), an advocacy organization dedicated to combating gun violence and supporting grieving families in communities of color. After tragically losing her son Andrell Napper to gun violence in 2006, Reese turned her pain into a mission to help others through what she calls “Good Grief.”

Through signature events like the Annual King Ron Playing for Change Tournament, Change Makers Gala, and the Value Life Peace March, Reese has made a lasting impact. She serves as a grief counselor, author, wife, and grandmother, and has partnered with the White House to address gun violence nationwide. Reese remains devoted to her faith and community, sharing hope through her music and unwavering commitment to ending gun violence.
