Join us for our First Annual Survivor Walk, an all-ages event created by CVAC's Survivor Advisory Committee to bring together survivors of interpersonal violence and abuse, along with their loved ones and supporters. This is a space for connection, support, and healing in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.This is a casual 2-mile paved walk, and participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and participate in whatever way feels comfortable. The event will begin a check-in process at 12pm. After a trauma-informed guided stretching and grounding session, we will start walking at 1pm. Whether you are a survivor, a supporter, or a loved one, you are welcome here.
The event will include Survivor Walk t-shirts available for purchase, healthy snacks and refreshments, trauma-informed community and healing resources, as well as a Survivor Support Tent available for quiet space and support.
