What do you do if you find yourself in a wilderness survival situation? What are the basic skills and techniques that will keep you alive?
In this class students will learn the absolute basic and necesary information to keep yourself alive in an emergency survival situation either while backpacking, on a day hike, or in a plane crash in the Andes (there will be no cannibalism). Class will include making fire in all weather, setting up shelter using different materials, purifying and collecting water, and finding food.
