In this playful drawing session, participants will explore surrealist techniques to create expressive self-portraits using ink. Drawing on methods like automatic drawing, tarot inspired prompts, and new ways of looking, the workshop invites participants to reflect on their inner worlds while embracing chance, abstraction, and experimentation. This workshop is delivered by Creative Workshops NE CIC, a not-for-profit company focusing on wellbeing outcomes through art. We serve communities that often feel excluded and would benefit from art practice, such as queer, neurodiverse and low-income groups.
