About this Event
Draping is more than a task — it's your first step in maintaining a sterile field, setting up for success, and protecting the patient.
In this FTLOS Skills Lab, we’re getting hands-on with the fundamentals and finesse of surgical draping.
Whether you're a student learning for the first time or a recent grad looking to sharpen your technique, this lab offers a supportive space to practice with intention, get feedback from experienced techs, and build confidence before stepping into the OR.
This session includes:
- A focused walkthrough of best practices and techniques for surgical draping
- Real-world guidance from experienced surgical professionals
- A hands-on draping lab with individual and small-group practice
- Opportunities to ask questions and receive peer-to-peer support
📸 NEW THIS SESSION:
We’re opening up limited volunteer opportunities for advanced students, recent grads and experienced professionals interested in helping with behind-the-scenes event support (media, recap content, setup, and more).
If you’re interested in contributing in this way, please email us at for consideration.
