SURGE: An Emerging Circus Artist Showcase 2026

SURGE is a dynamic showcase celebrating emerging circus talent, created to bridge the gap between training and the professional stage. Inviting artists who are advanced circus students or early-career performers with a passion for creation and performance, this is their moment to shine! With a broad rage of aerial and ground-based circus acts, as well as performances with a circus-inspired edge - including pole and movement acts with circus flair. Hosted by local legend Karl Kayoss there will be something for everyone to enjoy. All emerging artist have taken part in two exclusive mentoring sessions with SURGE mentors - Karl Kayoss (The Kayoss Factory, Mr Boylesque 2017), Sarah Ritchie (Kinetica), Anthony Tran and Fay MacFarlane (Circus Sorbet) - before performing live on stage at SURGE. Supporting community, artists and the future of Perths circus scene.
