SURFRIDER FOUNDATION X LA GALAXY BEACH CLEANUP

Join us on Sunday, August 15th on the north side of the Venice Pier for a community beach cleanup with LA Galaxy.

Surfrider Foundation will provide everything you need for a safe and successful cleanup including bags, gloves, trash-grabbers, hand sanitizer and sunscreen. Participants are encouraged to BYO water bottle to fill at our hydration station.

Please note that due to LA County Public Health Dept. limitations on public gathering this event is currently limited to 50 participants. Registered beach cleaners are still expected to bring and wear their own mask and observe physical distancing during the event. (Please follow public guidelines/Covid protocols in effect at the time of the event.)

Be sure to follow these instructions:

• PARTICIPATION WAIVER: Registered participants are required to fill our this waiver. Be sure to select Los Angeles Chapter in the drop down menu.
• LOCATION: Here is a link to where we'll be staging on the sand.
• PARKING: Park in this paid beach parking lot / or metered street parking on Washington Blvd. Look for us on the beach under the big blue Surfrider tents - we promise, you won't be able to miss us!

Recommended attire is comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity.
