- Friday 14th Nov 5pm at the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre for the timed swim & pool tube rescue
- Followed by the theory exam at the Red Shed at 7pm
Saturday 15th Nov we will meet at Fitzroy Surf Lifesaving Club for the remainer of the exam, including the rescue tows & release -so bring your wetsuits, tube & fins
Pre-requisites:
- 14 years of age
- Current member of a SLS club
Exam components:
400m pool swim under 9 minutes
Run-Swim-Run in the Surf
Tube Rescue in the pool and surf
First Aid and CPR
Communication Signals
Radio Communication
Theory questions
Rescue tows and releases

Roles and responsibilities

First Aid
You will have already been attending 2-8 weeks of classes lead by your club's SLA Instructor who will arranged registration to the course
The Patrol Support member must pass the entire theoretical component of the Surf Lifeguard Award.
