Join NYC stand up comedian Sureni Weerasekera for just one night only at Sid Gold's Request Room in Washington D.C. in collaboration with Punchline Comedy D.C. They will be yapping with the crowd, making fun of Sri Lankans, lesbians, running old classics and workshopping new material on family, open relationships, eating the rich, etc; a couple local acts will be opening including Dilan Hettiarachchi!

Sureni Weerasekera is a queer Sri Lankan-born, San Diego-raised, & New York-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. She is known for her lighthearted, conversational banter to her ruthless, dark jabs. She has worked with Netflix, Don't Tell Comedy, HBO Amazon Prime and META.
