Decathlon is a global brand with global goals. Sustainability and awareness is a global agenda at the moment and protecting the environment is the responsibility of every individual. Which is why at decathlon have decided to engage community in an eco-friendly manner, hoping to build on the work we are already doing in the background (MIA, Recycled materials, etc ).

Green psychology has a direct influence on our happiness, cycling releases endorphins that trigger a happy response within and countless other physiological benefits that can only be achieved through cardio activity.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only for 12 years and above (born on or before May 7, 2010)

• Participation certificate for all category.

Rules & Regulations

• Submit both COVID Vaccine certificates during BIB Expo.
• NO Helmet No Ride.
• Participants are required to follow the Administrative guidelines and ensure COVID-appropriate behaviour at all times inside the venue.
• Participants must register on or before the closing date of the registration.
• Once registration is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable, IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE ORGANIZERS, THE REGISTRATION FEE PAID BY YOU FOR PARTICIPATION WILL BE ADJUSTED TOWARDS YOUR PARTICIPATION ON A NEW DATE. IN THE EVENT OF YOU BEING UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE ON THE NEW DATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
• Please save the confirmation email received after registration as a reference for future communications.
• Riders found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or timing bib tag with another individual, will be disqualified from the event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in the subsequent edition of the event.
• Please note if you don't wear your timing bib tag as instructed, you won't be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official Certificate recording your finish times. No bib tag – No Timing – No Prize.
• No vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the ride; you will be asked to leave the course. 
• Only those confirmed participants wearing the number bibs will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified and removed by the course security.
• Further, every runner must wear his/her running number bib on the front of the vest. Any mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib will amount to disqualification of the runner from the event.
• Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.
• Baggage counters are available for all participants. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored. Organizers are not responsible for any loss of baggage and/or its belongings
• Participants are requested to cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venue and on route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day – this is for your own security.
• Entry Cancellation: Requests for cancellation & transfer will not be accepted and thereby, refund will not be entertained.
• The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this application form is at the sole discretion of the Event Organizing team and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances, and the applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising hereunder.
• Rules listed are subject to change as per the discretion of the Event Heads and the Organizing Committee. 
• Please bear in mind that all events, venues and timings are subject to change.

Waiver must be signed for entry acceptance/ Registration:

I hereby declare, confirm and agree the following:

(i) Information provided by me in this entry form is true and I am solely responsible for its veracity.

(ii) I have fully understood the risk of participating in the cyclothon/marathon event mentioned in this application and I am participating as per my own will.

(iii) I am aware with all the precautions and arrangements of the organisers. I am fully aware of the risks involved in participating in this event; and will not hold the organisers responsible for any mis-happenings. I shall be liable for legal actions if I try to defame the event or organizers using any social media tool or human references.

I undertake and declare that I am physically fit, and not under the influence of any substance medical or otherwise that shall either enhance my performance or render me incapable to participate, either practically, medically, or statutorily.

(iv) I am aware that training and physical fitness are integral requirements for participating in this event. I hereby state that I am in a good physical shape and have obtained medical opinion from a registered medical practitioner before participating in this event.

(v) For myself/ourselves and our legal representatives, waive all claims of whatsoever nature against any and all Sponsors of the event, all political entities, authorities and officials, all contractors and associated firms working on or near the course, all event officials and volunteers, all other persons and entities associated with the event and the directors, employees, agents and representatives of all or any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me participating in the event and whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise;

(vi) I agree that if I am injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer any detriment whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event officials and organizers to, at my/our risk and cost, transport me to a nearest/ contracted medical facility and/or to administer emergency medical treatment and l waive/s all claims that might result from such transport and/or treatment or delay or deficiency therein. I shall pay or reimburse to you my medical and emergency expenses and l hereby authorize/s you to incur the same;

I authorise the medical personnel to perform| administer such treatment deemed necessary in the circumstance and will not hold them liable for any consequence thereof.

On advise of the medical Personnel accompanying the athletes/ participants during the event, the organisers are authorised to prevent me from further competing or participating in the event.

I authorise the organisers to subject me to medical examination at any time prior, during or after the course of the event

(vii) I shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as they may request. I agree that nothing herein shall oblige the event officials or organizers or any other person to incur any expense or to provide any transport or treatment;

(viii) In case of any illness or injury caused to me or death suffered by me due to any force majeure event including but not limited to fire, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquakes, storms, typhoons or any terrorist act, none of the sponsors of the event or any political entity or authorities and officials or any contractor or construction firms working on or near the course, or any of the event organizers or event management officials or volunteers or any persons or entities associated with the event or the directors, employees, agents or representatives of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by me/my representatives;

(ix) I understand, agree and irrevocably permit SURAT CITY CYCLOTHON and race organizers and all associated departments and agencies to share the information given by me in this application, with all/any entities associated with SURAT CITY CYCLOTHON, at its own discretion;

(x) I understand, agree and irrevocably permit SCC and race organizers and all associated departments and agencies to use my pictures which may be photographed on Race Day for the sole purpose of promoting future events, at its own discretion;

(xi) I shall not hold the organizers and all/any of the event sponsors responsible for loss of my entry form and/or entry fee in transit;

(xii) The Management / Organization has the right to remove the participant at any time if found that the applicant has furnished false information.

(xiii) Fraud or dishonesty in the performance of the participant the management has the right to remove such participant.

(xiv) Failure to follow the rules and regulations of the event, the Management / Organization has the right to remove such participant.

(xv) The Participant has NO entitlement to any compensation for the injury caused during the event from the Management / Organization.

(xvi) I will not hold the management/organization responsible if the event is postponed/cancelled due to the order of the government/authorities due to any political, social, economic or any other matter over which the management/organization have no control.

(xvii) If the event is postponed / cancelled due to a situation beyond the control of the management, the participant cannot cancel the registration and demand refund of the registration fee.

(xviii) Once the registration is completed, no refund will be made for cancellation of the registration for any reason or for non-appearance on the event day.

(xix) I understand and completely accept all the Terms & Conditions as stated above from point (i) to (xviii).
