The Sur Sandhya 2024 is in aid of Soul of Tribal India (https://www.Rdcewe.org) to support a noble cause of educating the Tribal Children in West Singhbhum District, Jharkhand. The school symbolises the remarkable saga of a resilient and progressive young lady, Basmati Birua, the founder of the movement. Despite being poor and socially oppressed, she started a school in 2016 under a tree with four children in a remote forest village called Lamjahari. Today, the school provides free education from pre-Nursery to 7th grade, with nutritious breakfast and midday meals to 327 tribal children. Sur Sandhya, presented by Saras Communications, is a much-anticipated musical extravaganza in Bangalore’s cultural calendar, regaling audiences for over 2 decades. Organized by the renowned Door Darshan anchor Sandhya S. Kumar, who curates her concerts with passion, this celebrated extravaganza showcases famous artistes from across. India performing timeless classics in the city’s most prestigious auditoria. With an exceptional orchestra of twenty-six seasoned musicians, Sur Sandhya delivers a mesmerizing blend of melodies that resonate with audiences of all ages.
