Invite to all LHS parents!To celebrate study skills week that starts on Monday 1 September, we are hosting an information evening that will focus on how to support your learner with studying and working towards exams and assessments in the Senior Phase.
Inputs will include:
-Presentation on how we learn and retain information, and how you can help to support at home
-hear directly from some of our S5/6 current students about their study journey to success
-Examples of work at each grade in various subjects to show the SQA exam standard and expectations
-Past Paper examples
-Demonstrations of study sites such as Achieve & Scholar
-the opportunity to speak to some subject teachers and learn about National 5s and Highers
ALL parents and carers are welcome- even if your learner isn’t in Senior Phase yet. It’s never too early to start developing good study habits!
