Following on from our key note speaker Dr Karen Espey, Acting Principal Psychology Manager in Primary Care in Donegal and Siobhan Taylor, Children Disability Network Manager,Donegal North will give a brief overview of the referral processes for assessment and provide some information on what to expect if your child is diagnosed. Parents can then sign up for two workshops from a choice of four. The workshops will focus on different developmental areas that can help parents to support their child. These include Supporting Your child’s Language and communication skills 0-5yrs, Understanding Sensory Processing in your child (0-12yrs), Behavioural Support in the younger child (0-5yrs) and Supporting your Child’s Emotional Regulation (6-12yrs).
