Supporting women in the sex industry or at risk of sexual exploitation

This session will be delivered by Kath Saner, Yada Training Lead.

This training is designed for people who are supporting vulnerable women who may be selling or exchanging sex. The women we support are often affected by various mental health issues, so we have a trauma informed approach to all our work, and include a short section in our training around this topic. We aim to raise awareness, support staff and help combat issues associated with stigma. We also welcome anyone with an interest in this area.

• The law surrounding the sex industry.
• Frameworks through which the sex industry can be viewed.
