About this Event
Supporting people to make friends and have a good social life is one of the key themes of Leeds Learning Disability Strategy.
People with learning disabilities often don't have access to the same opportunities to make friends as none disabled people. Even people living with others can find themselves socially isolated. This half-day workshop will introduce support staff to things they can do to help people to make and keep friends.
The training is in person. It is free for staff and family carers supporting people with learning disabilities living in Leeds.
