Support Our Troops Volunteer Event

A Million Thanks needs volunteers to help prepare thousands of handwritten letters before they are shipped to deployed service members overseas. You’ll be opening, sorting, and screening messages—making sure every letter is ready to reach someone who may be far from home.
Hand written letters provide a sense of connection that is critical to supporting the resilience of our military and veterans. These letters can be found in helmets and uniform pockets. Stored in nightstands, gloveboxes, and gun safes. But you will never find them in a trash can.
The letters you prepare will be saved and read again and again. They are are coveted possessions that are often valued more than food.
Grab a friend or two and come see what happens behind the scenes at A Million Thanks!
