We know that having a "special needs" pet can be isolating and difficult at times. That is why we have a Support Group for Pet Parents with “Special Needs” Pets. Many of us have a pet (a cat, dog, bird or other) that has a special place in our hearts but may also have special needs. How "special needs" is defined, is up to you, the pet parent. That need may come in many forms and it may be medical or behavioral in nature. It may be a temporary or a long standing issue. We love these pets but they can take a toll on us as pet parents, both emotionally and financially. We need to take care of ourselves so we can continue to take care of them. Our group will help you work through the difficult times and decisions you must make for your pet. Beth is not only a certified dog trainer but is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and is here for you. You do not have to be alone on your journey. Others are going through similar situations.
