Who should attend?
This event is for frontline workers, volunteers, managers and community leaders from a variety of sectors, including:
- Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector
- Health professionals
- Social workers
- Teaching / education staff
- Community workers
- Neighbourhood teams
- Housing officers
- Local councillors
- Staff from organisations with an interest in sustainability and tackling poverty
Event Aims
- Promoting the Cost-of-Living campaign and affordable warmth schemes locally.
- Highlighting the groups of people who are most in need of support and empowering frontline workers to identify and support these groups of people, including supporting them to get online where possible.
- Exploring fuel poverty and methods people are using to save money, reduce their carbon footprint and keep warm.
- Building a strong knowledge base and skill set amongst staff and volunteers across the partnership to effectively provide information, guidance and signposting to residents on the COL crisis, affordable warmth and sustainable living.
- Providing a key opportunity for networking and collaboration
