Are dietary supplements safe to use? Exploring the complex relationship between supplements and cancer prevention.
About this Event

Global sales of dietary supplements are worth over $100 billion per year, but do they actually reduce our risk of cancer? Are they safe for everyone? And who, if anyone, stands to benefit?

Join Professor Mark Hull, Gastroenterologist and Cancer Preventionist, as he explores the complex relationship between dietary supplements and cancer prevention. Who benefits? Who doesn't? And is a one-size-fits-all approach enough for ‘nutrient prevention’ of cancer?

Hear how a personalised approach could ensure that the right supplement and the right dose is used by those who will gain most from a dietary supplement.

This free event is open to anyone interested in cancer research, care, and evidence-based health interventions.

Note: this event includes a talk from Professor Hull, followed by time for audience Q&A. Questions are warmly encouraged from audiences both in person and online.

Please note this event is hybrid and this is the iin-person registration page. To book to watch online please click here.
